ApplyPilot Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

The short version

ApplyPilot stores everything on your device and sends nothing anywhere. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking.

What data ApplyPilot handles

You enter your own application details (name, contact details, education, work history, links, work-authorisation answers) and optionally attach your CV/resume and cover letter files. This information exists solely so the extension can fill it into job application forms when you ask it to.

Where it is stored

All data is stored locally in your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own computer. It never leaves your device. ApplyPilot has no backend, makes no network requests, and transmits nothing to us or to any third party.

What ApplyPilot does on web pages

When you trigger autofill (toolbar button or keyboard shortcut), the extension reads the form fields on the page you are viewing and fills matching fields with your saved details. It never submits forms, never clicks buttons, and takes no action on any page except when you explicitly trigger it.

Data sharing and sale

We do not collect, share, or sell any data. We could not even if we wanted to: we never receive it.

Data removal

Use the extension's options page to edit or clear your profile at any time. Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all stored data.
